Hey everyone, I'm just writing another update because I'm bored on my lunch break. Not sure how many people read this blog, but I like posting on it sometimes. Hooray!
In terms of life updates, I just got an offer for a new job which I'll be starting in August. Until then I'm still at my current gig until next week, and then after I have two weeks off where I'll be going to some music festivals (which I'm really excited for).
I've also recently submitted my college band's album for release, still waiting on it to be processed. Here's a sneak peak at the cover art though:

I'm very excited to finally be releasing it. My band's been over for basically a year (people moved away after graduation), and it's been hard to find motivation to finish a project that's already been ended (basically). I think it'll be nice to have my stuff on streaming services though, it's my first time releasing music.
As for the future, I'm moving in September and I want to film a room tour before then (both for myself and for YouTube). I've been doing a lot filming with an old camcorder for myself and it's been a ton of fun. I don't see myself returning to YouTube in any serious capacity though. I'm really excited about the idea of starting to make music for a solo project, and I want to conserve my creative energy. I might start a new YouTube channel for that project and post clips of me playing music though.
It's nice to feel like I'm getting a fresh start. I've also been in the gym for the past 6 months, and even though my progress isn't crazy I've been very good about consistently lifting 3x a week and I'm finally getting strong on my compound lifts. I'm really glad I spent a year focusing on boxing and YouTube, but now I want to shift my focus on exercise to more of a maintenance thing instead of taking up my whole life (no regrets on boxing though).
If you're reading this I hope you're well. I try not to be online as much anymore because I'd rather be involved in my local communities. It's interesting looking back on my channel, part of me feels like some of my videos are cringe. However, I think that overall I'm proud of the videos I posted and they're a reflection of who I was at the time. If you're reading this blog, I assume you enjoyed them too.
Thanks! Cameron (chetbet)
